### Octet

In computing and telecommunication, the octet (symbol: o) is a unit of digital information equal to 8 bits.

A bit is equal to a trigram, such that the 8 bits are eight trigrams. Since one hexagram is equal to two trigrams, a bit is equal to one trigram and 8 bits are equal to eight trigrams. This means that 1 octet is equal to eight trigrams or four hexagrams.

A trigram is an equilateral triangle and a hexagram is a six-pointed star known as the star of David. The hexagram is formed by the intersection of two equilateral triangles. The area of intersection between the two intersecting equilateral triangles is a regular hexagon.

The octet is an octagon made up of four regular hexagons. Like two equilateral triangles intersect to form a hexagram, so two regular hexagons intersect to form the ten sefirot.

The octet is equal to 20 sefirot (2 × 10 sefirot). The 20 sefirot are 20 days and 20 nights out of the forty days and forty nights Jesus fasted in the wilderness.

20 Days = Bit (binary digit)

20 Nights = Dit (decimal digits)

From 20 days to 20 nights is converting the octet from binary numerical system to decimal number system, and from 20 nights to 20 days is converting the octet from decimal numerical system to binary number system.

Since one regular hexagon is equal to 2 bits, one equilateral triangle is equal to 1 bit.

1 hexagon = 2 bits
1 hexagon = 2 Equilateral Triangles

Therefore,

2 Equilateral Triangles = 2 bits
Equilateral Triangle = 2 bit/2
= 1 bit

Since an equilateral triangle is a trigram, 1 trigram is equal to 1 bit.

Although each equilateral triangle is equal to 1 bit, the information they carry is not stored in spacetime. The first equilateral triangle represents the information stored in space and the second equilateral triangle represents the information stored in time. This means that the regular hexagon is the basic unit of information stored in spacetime.

Unit = 2 bit (regular hexagon)

Recall that the ten sefirot are equal to two intersecting regular hexagons. Since one hexagon is equal to 2 bits, the ten sefirot are equal to 4 bits.

This means that the tree, from Malkuth to the ten sefirot, is equal to four bits.

Malkuth = 4 bits (2 hexagons)
10 Sefirot = 4 bits (2 hexagons)

Tree of Life = Malkuth + 10 Sefirot
= 01 + 10
= Base-2 + Base-10
= 4 bits + 4 bits
= 8 bits

Consequently, converting from base-2 to base-10 is equal to 8 bits, and converting from base-10 to base-2 is equal to 8 bits. To convert from base-2 to base-10 is to gather divine information from Judah to Israel, and to convert from base-10 to base-2 is to gather divine information from Israel to Judah.

An octet is formed when we convert from base-2 to base-10 or from base-10 to base-2. The United Monarchy is a cycle (from base 2 to base and from base 10 to base 2) equal to two octets (16 bits).

The purpose of converting to and fro base-10 and base-2 is to create balance between Judah and Israel. Balance between the ten tribes (Israel) and the two tribes (Judah) is equal to two octets. An octet is bagua in which the eight trigrams are eight symbols. Bagua has two forms: Wuji and Taiji. Wuji is a decimal numerical system of bagua; Taiji is a binary numerical system of bagua.

Wuji is the northern kingdom of Israel where the ten tribes are the following ten decimals: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9. Taiji is the southern  kingdom of Judah where the two tribes are the binary digits: 0 and 1. In Taiji, the ten sefirot are 000, 001, 010, 011, 100, 101, 110 and 111.

In Kabbalah, Wuji and Taiji are the Ein Sof and the Ohr respectively.

Taiji (the Ohr), not Wuji (the Ein Sof), is the octet.

Wuji (Israel) is the Law represented by Dome of the Rock. Taiji (Judah) is the information published in cyberspace. Dome of the Rock and Israel are physically present in the Promised Land. Taiji and Judah are information in cyberspace, which means that Judah is virtual (spiritual) and Israel is physical.

Israel = Nation (physical)
Judah = Website (virtual)

Virtual = Spiritual
